TIME TO FIND THE NEW KING!
The so called KING OF THE JUNGLE the Man...Oh sorry I mean the LION!
§ Have you ever seen a real wild lion in its natural habitat?
o Natural habitat means jungle and not parks or a zoo. Zoos are for kids to get educated about animals.
o Taking a look at wild animals caged in parks with your family, friends, girlfriend, and children must be fascinating for you but not for the animals.
§ The lion is the second largest in the cat family after the tiger.
o An average lion weighs upto 240 kgs and can grow upto 7 feets or more, 1 lion needs upto 50 kms of area as its own marked territory.
o It is the only mammal in the cat family who prefers living in groups forming families.
o The total population of Asiatic lion in India is approx 300.
o The man animal conflict results in this decrease of lion population in India (Gujarat) only 300 left and still in decreasing numbers. The Gir lion project got successful and here too much success means too much problems…the breeding n conservations got so well that there are space issues…animals fighting with animals n humans kill them to protect their cattle.is this success …also some other asian parts ask some pairs of the Asiatic lions for a conservation n bredding project outside india..but these people with official power say its our n we have preserved em n hence rejected n never gave a single lion..atleast some1 would have taken good care at a new place to survive for the last lions.
o Lion is a crucial part of the food chain which indirectly affects all the living things related to it and in the end we are to survive.
Have You Ever Thought???
§ Who will be the next King of the Jungle?
§ Who will be the next Simba?
§ What would be the next logo of our National Emblem?
There must be something special in these beautiful creatures that god choose them to be with them all the time.
THINK ! …. THINK AGAIN!!!
